Terms & Conditions
These terms apply to all floating picnic experiences provided by Sol de Martie in Miami.
1) Bookings, Changes & Cancellations
- Cancellation credit: If you need to cancel for any reason, payments are non-refundable. However, the amount will be issued as a credit valid for up to 18 months, which can be used to reschedule based on availability.
- Late arrivals: Guests arriving late will still be accommodated; however, the experience will be shortened and will end at the originally scheduled time.
- Rescheduling fee: Reservations may be rescheduled with at least 24 hours’ notice. Changes made more than 24 hours in advance will incur a $25 fee. Changes made within 24 hours of the scheduled time will incur a $50 rescheduling fee.
- Capacity: Each setup accommodates up to 2 guests.
- Weight limit: The maximum combined weight allowed on the platform is 740 lbs. Exceeding this limit will result in immediate cancellation without refund for safety reasons.
- Age requirement: Guests must be at least 12 years old. No exceptions.
2) Weather, Safety & Rescheduling
- Weather conditions: If weather conditions are unsafe, we may cancel or reschedule your experience. In such cases, you will be offered a new date at no additional cost.
- No refunds for weather: Payments are non-refundable due to weather; rescheduling or credit will be provided instead.
- No-shows: Failure to attend or cancel within the scheduled time will result in forfeiture of the reservation without refund.
3) Right of Admission & Liability
- Right of admission: We reserve the right to refuse service to ensure the safety of all guests and staff.
- Liability waiver: By participating, guests acknowledge that the experience takes place on a floating platform and assume all inherent risks. Sol de Martie is not responsible for injuries, falls, or damages resulting from failure to follow safety guidelines or negligent behavior.
4) Damages & Additional Charges
- Lost or damaged items: Any broken or missing items during the experience may result in a charge starting at $20 or the full replacement cost if higher.
- Item availability: Certain elements of the setup may vary depending on availability.
5) Photography & Media Use
During your experience, photos and videos may be captured for promotional and social media purposes (Instagram and TikTok).
If you prefer not to appear in any content, you must notify us in writing prior to your reservation date. Unless stated otherwise in advance, guests grant permission for their image to be used for promotional purposes without compensation.
6) Acceptance of Terms
By completing your booking, you confirm that you have read and agreed to these Terms & Conditions, as well as the safety rules listed below.
Safety Rules (Usage Guidelines)
- Jumping or bouncing on the platform is strictly prohibited.
- If the setup is on the water, entering the water and returning to the picnic area is not allowed.
- Wet feet and footwear (shoes, sneakers, sandals) are not permitted on the picnic surface.
- Do not open, close, or tamper with any zippers or structural elements. These must remain untouched during the experience.
Failure to follow these rules may result in immediate termination of the experience without refund.
